I've always hated cooking. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I have no sense of smell so my creativity in the kitchen is limited to what I think tastes good. Which isn't a lot. But I've really grown to enjoy it lately. It's an aspect of routine that I can add to my life.
And I guess the title is a bit of a misnomer. I'd be more of a potager than a chef, since all I've been cooking, really, has been soup, soup, and more soup. And stews.
I love soup. And stews. Maybe I should put that in my "About Me" page. That's how much I love soup. And stews.

But here's my problem: there's only one of me, with two kids - one of which basically lives on peanut butter and jelly, and the other only sometimes wants to eat the soup I make. So, I eat what I can and freeze the rest, but now I'm running out of containers to freeze it! Oh, the joy.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled lives!
I used to think that watches that had the little "day of the month" window in them rotated 365 days. I wondered how it could be that I could figure out which month it was set to so I could set it to the exact right day.
